B&W shots like this can be difficult--a cloded sky and snow often come out a flat sheet of white. But your sky and snow have subtle tones of grey, so even the stretches of negative space have interest. The trees and buildings are so crisply defined. It's an absolutely lovely image. Funny thing--when I first saw it loading, I actually thought I saw the buildings as being red. Thre must be some intrisinc redness to them that remains even when they are rendered in B&W.
Wonderfully composed and shot. Red would have distracted from the shapes of the buildings I think. What is the raised roof thing on the middle building?
I think this scene is lovely in black and white. Actually, snowy scenes in general are good converted. Maybe in the summer you can show it to us in color though.

Nice composition. The black and white gives a good contrast to the image.
I do love this image, seems nearly like taken from a picture book. Wonderful.
This makes for a fabulous black and white...I love the clean and simple shapes in the houses against that blanket of snow...Really well done!
I wish you hadn't said that the houses were red, my favourite colour., but they do convert quite well into black and white.
This is really nice. Everything looks so 'staight' and structured in this.
Beautiful in black & white. I like the composition.

A very wonderful farmstead scene with great framing by the trees.
