Roadside

Found some color outside today! Those poles are set out before the snow so the snowplough's driver knows where the road ends and the ditch starts

I had posted a comment, but it disappeared :-(

It's nice to finally see some color, even if it is just a little bit! Nice lines in this shot - I could follow this road forever.

I need these for my driveway! Great spot of color in all that white.

I know! Sometimes that is the only color seen for miles and miles!

We should all place red things outside to contrast with all that white stuff!

I love the flash of red against that snow! Our poles are orange...I like your red better!

at a first glance at the small photo I thought it could be part of a cross-country ski run; there is a fine contrast between white and red in the picture.

This looks like selective B&W, but I suspect it's the unexpected appearance of those two bright poles in a bleak winter landscape.

That would drive me nuts I think, if road finders were the only color. I'll not complain about how wet and muddy it is at my house.

There are times when I wish we had red poles along our roads to serve as landmarks in the white snow! I like the perspective of your road accented by the red poles.

I like the red poles against the gray of winter. Nicely composed.
