Leading lines

Well, one line any way. The X marks show the skitrack so you can find the way even when you cannot se the actual tracks. Necessary as it gets windy up here. This is one of the wiews from the cottage in my Excursion post.

I can only imagine what that hilltop looks like when the wind blows! I like that your photo shows us what a huge expanse of snow it actually is. What a great place to ski.....

It's so hard to imagine what that's like. How different from my world where I have only seen one or two little flakes in the last year or two.

I love the blue against the white. It looks like a great place to ski.

Love all that white against the blue sky, those X posts must be a big help for the skiers.

That is as bleakly cold as anything I could begin to imagine. Even here in New England, one of the colder places in the US, mountains ans ski areas have trees and places where bare rock shows through. Brrr!

I'm glad you explained the X's, as I thought, "No way is there a train crossing on this grade!"

I thought train crossing too. Looks like with the wind you could get lost easily. I think I'll stay in that cool tracked vehicle
