Hands

first chanterelles and wild strawberries for this season 
the nice neighbour who walks my dog also brought me those small mushrooms
the wild strawberries grows on my land so I managed to pick some myself

I have never had a chanterelle mushroom (they're $20 a pound here!), but I know that the first small strawberries are the sweetest. Picturing them in the hand shows them as gratefully received gifts from the earth.

Your recovery must be going OK as I can't imagine collecting mushrooms and picking berries with both feet laid up! Would love a berry or two.
