Natural Framing

Must be seen enlarged. From last weekends concert with Bryan Ferry at Dalhalla. It was my first visit and it was amazing to se this place. Dalhalla is an amphitheatre in a former limestone quarry and used as a summer music venue. The quarry is 60 metres deep, 400 metres long and 175 metres wide. It was opened in 1995 and has 4000 seats. The acoustical qualities are comparable to the best outdoor stages in Europe.

That is just a fantastic venue. I would think you would have great acoustics. Thanks a lot for showing this, as I never would have imagined a setup like this in an old quarry.

Did Brian Ferry do a good job with Dance Away, complete with the lighting of the cigarette?

I think it would be so cool to hear a concert here; I think the sound would be so organic.

What can I say that no-one hasn't said already, only that I'm jealous that it wasn't me there enjoying the concert.

I'm reading your posts backwards - would have never thought the performance was outdoors.
