Sharp, Macro Monday

I've not posted anything last week but I've been on one of the Canary Islands. However, now I'm back and I will try to do some catching up and... I moght show you a piece of Gran Canaria island as well. As these sharp plants. The cactus is something we all seen before but the second branch of a tree called Silk Floss Tree is new to me. Origin is from Brasil and Argentine but these I found in an interesting Botanic garden on the island. Visit Macro Monday for more macros and closeups.

Wow, I'll bet you felt like melting in the Canary Islands! And good for you for concentrating on having a good time and posting images later. Looking forward to seeing more images from your trip. The second image here is simply amazing.

Silkesträdet finns här nere hos mig också. Det är ett helt fantastiskt träd med dessa taggar på stammarna och sen en överdådig blomning med ljuva rosa blommor! Så vackert!
